3. Google advertising and consent
This site uses Google AdSense. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message managed by Google (a platform certified under the IAB Europe TCF framework) is shown, where you can accept, reject or configure the use of advertising cookies. If you do not consent, Google may show non-personalised ads with cookies limited to purposes such as fraud prevention.
Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s ad settings and read how Google uses data. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
4. Processors and transfers
To provide the service we use providers that may process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery network, security and cookie-free statistics.
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — advertising (AdSense) and, where applicable, analytics.
- Newsletter and email provider — subscriber management and sending messages, once activated.
Some of these providers may carry out international data transfers covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
5. Links to stores
Links to Amazon and NMshop take you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies. Altavia does not receive your purchase data; in Amazon’s case, only aggregated sales information used to calculate commissions.
6. Data stored in your browser
We store in your browser’s local storage (not on our servers) your light/dark theme preference and the articles you mark as saved. You can delete them from your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to redaccion@altavianature.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: HTTPS encryption across the whole site, data minimisation, anti-spam protection and restricted access to systems.
9. Minors
The site is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
