Altavia is a digital media outlet that publishes informative and educational content about mountains, nature, adventure and the environment. Access to the site is free and does not require registration.

3. Terms of use

Using the site implies acceptance of this legal notice and of the terms of use. Users undertake to make proper use of the content and not to use it for unlawful activities or activities contrary to good faith.

4. Nature of the information and safety

Content about routes, mountain activities, weather, first aid or safety is for information and guidance only. It does not replace specific training, your own judgement, up-to-date official sources or the support of qualified professionals. Outdoor activities carry risks that each person assumes under their own responsibility. The owner is not liable for any damage arising from improper use of the published information.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, brand, logo, design and code of the site belong to the owner or are used under licence. Third-party photographs are published under free licences (Creative Commons or public domain) with their authorship and licence indicated; you can see them on the image credits page.
